RA Direct is governed by a Management Board comprising four Russel + Aitken Partners and RA Direct’s Operations Director.

The Board is essentially the senior decision-making body for RA Direct. The Board has responsibility for:

• Defining the broad direction of RA Direct by establishing it’s Vision, Mission, Values and Objectives
• Directing the RA Direct strategy and structure to ensure its survival and to protect its achievements, assets and reputation whilst stimulating its growth
• Agreeing, monitoring and controlling the implementation of strategy, policies and plans, and the legal and fiduciary obligations that affect RA Direct

Together, the Board has a wealth of experience in several disciplines of law, management and directorships of other commercial organisations.

The Board’s strategy is to lead RA Direct in achieving the highest standards of service by capitalising on our existing knowledge of the marketplace and the requirements of our clients.

Within RA Direct the teams are structured on a transactional basis. This business model allows our department to flex easily to meet business volumes. An additional advantage is gained from applying ‘best practice’ to all clients. Further, the team members are experts in that part of the transaction which they manage.

RA Direct, whilst governed by the Management Board is further supported by a large legal team of Solicitors, Paralegals and support staff within Russel + Aitken. Russel + Aitken’s four offices in Central Scotland give us an excellent geographic position and allow us to be within easy reach for a considerable percentage of the Scottish population.
