With approximately 50% of the UK total mortgage business being generated by borrowers remortgaging, we understand the importance our lender clients and their borrowers place on speed, efficiency and minimising costs. We act for several of the UK’s top lenders and have a proven track record in the marketplace which meets the highest service levels at all times, including at times of spiked fluctuation in business volumes.

Our reporting on all aspects of our clients’ borrowers’ transactions is robust and dynamic. Because our system has been developed to provide an entirely bespoke process to suit each lender client, similarly our reporting can be tailored to provide the specific information our clients require.
Equity Release
Our Equity Release Team was established to provide specialist advice to both Lenders and Borrowers in relation to equity release loans.
Lenders require specialist advice on the procedures to be followed in order to ensure that their loans are processed efficiently and cost-effectively.
Borrowers need specialist advice so that they understand the particular consequences of taking out an equity release loan. If they are advised by solicitors with experience in this area, the loan is likely to be processed more efficiently to the benefit of both Lender and Borrower.
We provide advice to Lenders on the appropriate Scottish documentation and can also offer training to their staff as required on the Scottish legal process.
Borrowers benefit from the pro-active professional advice from a qualified specialist team and all our documentation and guidance notes are prepared in “plain English” to assist Borrowers and their families.
Repossession
When Borrowers fall into arrears and repossession is necessary, we can provide a one-stop, all-inclusive repossession service.
Our service includes the litigation required to repossess the property, the marketing and sale of the property and the subsequent conveyancing.
Geographically, our service covers all of Scotland using our close associations and business partnerships with Solicitors, Estate Agencies and Solicitors Property Centres throughout the country.
Broker updates
Introducers want their clients’ remortgages processed quickly and smoothly. They also wish to be kept updated on progress and to be advised when delays occur.
We advise introducers when we are instructed in their client’s remortgage and provide them with contact details.
The support and information we provide to introducers is also of considerable benefit to lenders who are not required to resource their own introducer help desks to the same extent.
Online case tracking
We can provide extensive, customisable and secure online reporting on the progress of cases for clients.
The data shown in each report can be fully adjusted to the client’s specification and full drill-down into the individual cases is available.
Our extRAnet allows us to function as a virtual department of our clients’ business.
White labelling
We have considerable experience of white labelling either as the lender client or as a third party.
We have a close association with First Title – one of the UK’s leading title insurers and remortgage service providers – where we act as First Title agents in Scotland. Through this connection we have also established good working relationships with mortgage packagers.
